Nikolai Oleinikov, Moscow: Slipping revolution (time after). The Sormovo neighborhood in Nizhni Novgorod

The famous neighborhood Sormovo in Nizhni Novgorod: in 1905 (the year of the first Russian revolution), a huge struggle for worker's rights flared up here. This event is also described in Maxim Gorkyi's novel "Mother". At the moment, the situation in this neighborhood is totally different. The place became simply a "sleepers" neighborhood. The starting point of my research is a situationist derive through the place on the 1st of May, learning what is happening in this very urban environment with its very historical background.
