Attila Menesi (born 1967) and Christoph Rauch (born 1958) collaborate since 1993. Their common works relate to the conditions of art in its social, institutional and locational context, aiming at an identification of deficiencies or problems and trying to open up possibilities of change for the better. Recent projects include “Nesting Season” (spring / summer 2007), a differentiation of the perspectives of two central-European institutions dedicated to contemporary art: an artists club of a century-long tradition and a novel art organization of a multinational company.
